I took a Tuesday off, which sounds weird but wasn’t. The break was necessary and I got so much done. Voted! Cooked! Laundry!
This bush was outside the laundromat and the colors were shockingly vivid. I kept circling it, taking picture after picture.
I have a habit of looking up. Inside and outside, I’m always with my head tilted back.
On my way to work, I walked under this tree and it felt like the sky lit up around me. It was glowing. It was a moment where the air was crisp, the sun was beating, and my world was on fire.
Ran into these fun loving guys on my way home. They were having fun and being chill. We talked about mental health and Etsy.
I’ve been visiting the Assembly area a lot. It’s near my work, the river, the train, and there’s shopping. What more could I possibly want?
Now that it’s getting darker earlier, I’m able to enjoy the lights they have strung up. There lit year-round, but I always seem to miss them when visiting Assembly.
This sunshine makes all the difference. I feel amazing.
Nice long walk (it’s Pokémon Community Day). It’s so cold my fingers are turning purple, but I feel so good!
I don’t remember why, but I looked up and saw this perfectly transitioning tree with the blue sky backing it and feel in love with the image.
These shockingly clear blue skies, cloudless, are a favorite of mine.
Discovered the best snack. It’s not even “Oh it’s low cal” or “Sooo healthy” (though that’s part of it, sure). It’s tastes good.
And guilt free! A raspberry and blackberry mix is filling when I hit that late evening snack craving.
It almost feels like Spring all over again. I’m suddenly seeing flowers everywhere! It’s probably all the rain we’re getting.
There are still leaves on the trees! I’m so happy we’re hanging onto the good weather.
My sister and mom told me it was snowing where they live. Very pleased to look outside and see sunshine and green.
What even is this?! I was walking to the grocery store and there was a huge bush with these hanging over a fence.
So weird but insanely pretty!
I am obsessed with my neighbors’ roses. There’s yellows and red in pots in their front lawn. They’re still in the process of landscaping. Every morning this week I’ve walked by the roses on my way to work and every morning I’ve stopped to smell them.
Roses have never been a huge obsession of mine, but I think I’m understanding why so many people love them.
The leaves are falling! And we’re getting a decent amount of rain, which I hear helps with the colors.
The house on the corner doesn’t rake, fine by me. So every day to and from work I look at the amazing colors on their lawn. I doubled back for this picture because I thought the rain drops looked so neat.
She is so pretty. Also an ass, chewing on the window blind cord. Now that a few days here and there are cooling, she’s even more cuddly.
Fall is here! Look at this gorgeous tree!
She is the clingiest thing! It’s nice to be loved, in moderation. I can’t go anywhere in the house without her following me and begging for attention.
For awhile, she even sat on the chair next to me, her little paw reaching out and hooked into my pants.
Some really intense red leaves all over the brand new sidewalk on my street. Wind was a bit much lately so the first one I went to take a photo of blew away.
But then the next day I found one just as pretty.
Fantastic view out the plane window! It felt like seeing more of the world than I’ve ever seen before.
The clouds were stunning. It had been cloudy before lift off so flying above them and seeing the sun made it hard to look away.
Got ramen with friends for lunch. Such a nice day, sunny and warm. Then we putzed around some of the outlet stores.
Coupon for Sephora! Tried something new with a Saturday Skin eye cream. I don’t know how well it works, but it sure looks pretty on my shelves.
Half the fun is being able to look at it next to my Anthropologie cups. Everything matches perfectly!
For the first time in nine years, I was able to go to the Minnesota State Fair. Today was opening day. We headed toward a Park and Ride at the Mall of America transit station.
The Fair was packed, to no ones surprise. Tomorrow it’s supposed to rain by today was 80, sunny, and breezy.
I had Australian potatoes and we bought popcorn and roasted chestnuts. We also took a sky ride! Some amazing views.
